You know research. But children’s research is a whole new ball game

I Know How It Goes:

You could run research with adults all day long. But a new project requires you to adapt your methods to children's research. And you need to do it as effectively as possible.

Or, to stay competitive, you want to broaden your skill set by incorporating kids’ user research into it. But you’re pretty sure it’s not as simple as using your existing methods with kids. (And you’re right about that.)

You need to expand your research skills. So you can run research with kids!

Because going from adult to children’s research isn’t about making a few little tweaks—it requires a whole new process that you’ll need to learn and implement.

It takes training to get it right. But the training is worth it. And, it’s completely within reach.

Hi! I’m Megan.

I train teams to do research with kids

As a leading expert and educator on qualitative kids’ user research, I teach on the topic both online and in graduate and undergraduate programs across the country. And, I guest lecture and offer team training sessions to organizations worldwide.

Influenced by my practice and experiences, I’ve developed a proven set of creative methodologies that are effective but flexible—so busy teams can take what they need from them, and get back to work.

Through my work, I get to help kid-first companies build even better toys, apps, and products. And I’d love to teach you and your team to do it, too!

Megan's many years of experience are evident and her seasoned advice was incredibly beneficial to our startup.”

We recently had the pleasure of consulting with Megan for our children’s AI software startup. Coming from predominantly B2B backgrounds, our team needed deeper insights into the unique challenges and methodologies around children’s technology research. She coached us on how to conduct more effective and engaging interviews with children, teaching us to frame our questions in a way that resonates with young users. She gave us a great framework to move forward with interviewing our families moving forward.
